Recognizing that schedules have been upended, Bird’s Eye Tutoring is here to support you and your student by providing flexible assistance with class assignments, supplemental homeschooling and on-call tutoring. Please reach out to discuss your student’s needs and together we will put together a learning plan.
Process
To help your student I start by meeting with you, family, care-giviers and teachers to understand your students strengths and where help is needed. Based on this input, I develop a custom learning plan which we review together. The plan includes regular check-ins and feedback opportunities to make sure your student is progressing and learning.
Tutoring sessions are typically 50 minutes at least once a week. This can vary based on the student’s learning style.
About Me
Over the past 10 years, I have been teaching and tutoring elementary and middle school students with a wide variety of skills and needs. I very much enjoy the experience of working individually with such a diverse range of students. In addition, I believe strongly that including and coordinating with students' families and teachers is extremely valuable in order identify each child’s specific strengths and needs.
Together, it has been very rewarding to help students grow their academic skills and confidence, with flexibility and care. As schools are now facing the challenges of on-line learning, I am happy to meet virtually, and in person locally near Burlingame, California, where I live with my wife and two teenage children.
Degrees: Bachelor of Arts, Syracuse University and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, Notre Dame de Namur.
